A beautiful shot on the backside of the JFK Museum and Library. This is a picture of JFK's sailboat (which I forget the name of currently). Growing up on Cape Cod, JFK was very fond of the sea and sailing, which after graduating Harvard led him to join the Navy during World War II, where he was eventually injured. During the museum's 17 minute introductory film, Kennedy tells the story of when his boat, PT-109, was rammed by Japanese boat. Kennedy, although injured, managed to save many of the members of his crew by aiding them in swimming to a nearby island, then offering a coconut to a native in exchange for aide in getting off the island. For this, he was awarded a medal.
